I love finding new small businesses for me to support and promote on my blog, this top really hit home for me. I loved the font + heart eyes, I feel like I go through life always saying I need this I need that, and especially heart eyeing everything. I paired this top with my new favorite jeans, by madewell. The cropped flare is a staple for me now and I can't wait to wash these and watch them fray more with time.
I am obsessed with this book and all the inspiration it has given me so far! This book is divided up into seasons for the entire year. With fall starting last week I am officially starting this week with my first list, #40 - list your top twenty mood-boosting songs. This list was a little hard for me because I am not a big music person. I mean I enjoy listening to tunes but I don't think about it often or research tons of bands. I decided to list a few current songs I like, oldies that remind me of good times with my mom, and a few random ones that I just enjoy. I found this record player downstairs under my parents bed along with tons of records, so I decided to give it a try and see what I think. I haven't finished this list just yet, but I am in the process! I will be posting my list of the week on instagram + my blog, I want to make sure I fully complete the book so I will be posting to keep myself accountable. I really would love to have all my readers involved so I encourage you to join me. If you don't want to buy the book, you can always just write the lists in a random journal. I also am starting to use tags on my blog, so if you miss a few of my posts about the journal you can click the tag below '#52weeksproject' and it will show you all the posts that are included with that tag! I would love to hear your lists, so comment below or on my instagram with your lists because I would love to hear all of your mood-boosting songs this week! Next week is '#41 - list your favorite things about fall' so start thinking.
I am so excited to be posting about this little outfit, it was hand-made in LA by Mor Dotter. We have been communicating back in forth for a few months now so it was exciting to finally get my hands on one of her creations. With this top you can wear it how I am or turn it around with the tie in the back, I wear it the opposite way with vintage levis for a more relaxed look. The skirt also looks amazing with a chunky knit over it and some cute booties.
